John Cowling

Interim Youth Minister

John and his wife, Courtney, have been married for nineteen years and have three children, Jacob, Caleb, and Bethany. For the past nine years, John has served as the Ministry Director at Rolling Hills Ministries, he leads the Thrift Store, Disaster Relief, Compassion, International, and Recreational Ministries. As an Executive Director on the John Maxwell Leadership Team, John also adds value to others by teaching and coaching leadership principles.

John graduated from Arkadelphia, H.S., Louisiana Tech University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before he and his family moved to Ruston, LA in 2015, John served churches in Arkansas and Louisiana. John enjoys speaking, sports, and the outdoors.  He and his family love camping in their fifth wheel, whenever possible.
