Senior Adult

The philosophy of the Senior Adult Ministry of FBC Ruston is two-fold:

(1) to ensure that each senior adult we encounter is given the opportunity to know for certain that he or she has assurance of salvation and is going to Heaven

(2) to encourage believers to continue growing in grace and in the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord and applying what we have learned in serving others in Jesus’ name in whatever capacity we have opportunities to do so.

KIT: The second Monday of each month, September through May, there is a social gathering of senior adults called K.I.T. (Keep In Touch). KIT meets in the church’s fellowship hall. Come join us from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. for a time of fellowship, delicious food, and inspiration.

Day Trips: Each month we try to offer an event of interest for our seniors either at the church or in the surrounding area. For more information on our next event please contact Wayne Bridges.

At FBC Ruston, we are not sticklers about age. If you are interested in getting in on any of our activities, feel free to sign-up and enjoy it with us.

Each spring the group attends a Senior Adult Conference in Branson, Missouri.
