A Bouquet of Blessings . . .

A Bouquet of Blessings . . .
Looking out the window one day, I saw my neighbor's children having great funblowing dandelion seeds into the wind and then falling down giggling.  Great fun!
So what is my favorite flower? . . . What is yours?  It's hard for me to say because I love plants and flowers of all sorts . . . maybe lilacs and roses for their fragrance and beauty.  However, the one I respect the most is the "dandelion."  It blooms early, thrives anywhere, perseveres thru all the adversities of poor soil, rocky ground . . . and even lives in the cracks in sidewalks.  Also, it brings a lot of joy making children laugh.
"Dandelions" adjust and make the most of opportunities presented to them, and so must we make the most of whatever life hands us!  And sometimes it's work . . . hard work!
". . . his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light . . .."
1 Corinthians 3:13a (NIV)
God has called each of us to work for Him in this world.  Be an example of God's love to those around us.  Colossians 3:23 (NIV)  tells us . . . "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord and not for men."
